With Birthday Gamesake, friends and family create a personalized game by writing favorite memories on cards. The cards then move players along the board. As added fun, the board can also be personalized.

For use as a child’s game: Children and adults all fill out favorite memories from the year (“Annie scores winning goal in ‘Little Kickers’ championship. Go ahead 2. Love, Dad.” or “Dad backs car into garage. Miss 1 Turn. Love, Blake”). Kids love the game, because it’s all about them. Adults love the game, because it’s something kids love to play while at the same time creating a priceless keepsake.
For use at a milestone birthday: Set the Gamesake® out at a welcome table and make an announcement asking guests to fill out favorite memories of the birthday honoree on the enclosed cards. Or, set the cards out at each table. Or, send the cards out with the invitations and ask guests to bring completed cards to the party. The more memories the better. How do you play? The board follows a path of “gifts” from bassinet to birthday cake. Along the board are destinations – a city, mountains, beach, school, and house to name a few – which can be personalized. Players begin the game at the bassinet (which can also be personalized) and roll the die. If a player lands on a “gift” he or she picks a card, reads the personalized memory, and follows the command (e.g. roll again, go ahead 1, go back 2, go to a destination on the board). The first one to the cake wins the game.
